Brainstorm

Mixing hard rock, rock and punk, Brainstorm tours in 1980 including at 'Le Saint' (Paris) and produces several demos at studio 38. Matthias leaves the band to turn to other horizons.

Stators

After a brief change with Benjamin Raffaelli on lead guitar, Patrick Costeaux joins the group which changes its name to Stators. The music played radicalizes into heavy metal with Black Sabbath influences.
Gilles Méléo joins the band on vocals in September 1982.

Stators - 1981/1982

1983: Christophe Crouzet joins the group on drums. New demo, Soam studio, Didier Lubin on sound, opening act of Quiet Riot in March 1984. Signing with Axe Killer records, release of Never too late in early 1985. France Festival in July, separation of the band in September. Olivier and Joël continue the adventure together.
